4 years old!

Well another year has come and gone and as cliche as it sounds my little man is growing way too fast. Jonas turns 4 years old this Sunday and he is SO EXCITED!!! Last week Jonas had a really off day. He was walking around as if he were depressed. Then latter that night he started crying uncontrollably for two hours. It was the saddest little thing made more sad when I found out the reason he was crying. It turns out he was scared of turning 4 because he thought he would then be officially to big to be my little guy anymore and that he would be too big to cuddle with me. So after a long talk he realized he would never be too big to be my little guy nor to cuddle with me. (although if he were in his 20's and married it might be a tad weird!) So after that little incident he has been nothing but excited to have his birthday!

We are having a fun little birthday party for Jonas that I will post about later I'm sure, but for now I wanted to post a little slide show of my favorite pictures of Jonas through out this last year. It has been quite a fun year for Jonas with so many accomplishments such as FINALLY getting potty trained. This year he had surgery, made tons of friends, moved to Logan, got to see a monster truck show, went on his first camping trip and all other sorts of fun.


I truly am so thankful for this little man and the joy that he brings to our lives. We truly are so blessed to still have him in our lives. I keep thinking that the older he gets I might forget how truly lucky we are to still have him, but I can honestly say that not a SINGLE day goes by that I don't remember how close we were to not having him in our lives anymore. Although the painful memories are often really hard on me, I am actually quite thankful for those memories because those memories remind me EVERY day of how blessed I truly am! As a mother it is hard to see your children grow so quickly but I am so excited to see what the next year brings for Jonas.
