Love is in the Air and so are a lot of illnesses

I hope everyone had a great Valentines weekend! We had a pretty fun and eventful weekend! On Thursday Jonas and I cut out a few dozen sugar cookies for a Valentines party with his cousins. He was such a good little helper and sure worked hard on these cookies! On Friday we went to Scott's parents house to have a little valentine's party for all the cousins and to celebrate Scott's sister Heidi's birthday We brought over all our sugar cookies, frosting, and candies for the kids to decorate! It was sure fun for all of them to be able to make cookies for their friends for Valentine's day! Jonas REALLY enjoyed decorating the cookies.... from what I recall just about every cookie he frosted and decorated he also taste tested. Needless to say we didn't give away any of his cookies! So here is a little collage of the kids decorating cookies! No event in our life is complete without Jonas getting hurt in some way or another. Now I know everyone says that it's just the age but I really believe that Jonas is just way beyond that. He really is the BIGGEST klutz I have ever known. He could literally trip over an ant!. Whenever he is with his cousins and we hear someone get hurt 99% of the time it is Jonas. Anyway so here is a picture of the damage from that night. He hit the back of his head on the window seat, it bled pretty good for quite a while. side note: as I write this Jonas just hit his head again. He literally fell over sideways and hit the side of his head on the corner of my dresser. No blood this time, but he does have one heck of a goose egg! Like I said it's almost a daily event! On Saturday for Valentine's Day we took Jonas to the Monster Jam down in Salt Lake. He had known about it for a week and was beyond excited to go! The ride down was really pretty bad. The roads were horrible and the drivers were worse. But we got there in time and safely! As I said before Jonas had hit his head really badly the night before and was really acting out of sorts! He was so excited but kept on dozing off to sleep which is a little odd seeing as how he hasn't taken a nap in months. Other than falling asleep a few times Jonas really had a great time! On the way home the weather was considerably better until we hit Brigham City. It took us a little over an hour to get through the canyon (it usually takes no more than 20 min) the visibility was no more than a foot in front of our truck. It was a tad bit scary but we made it home safe and sound. It was a really fun weekend, I thought Jonas' odd behaviour was head injury related, That was until he started to run a fever and threw up all night Sunday night. AS some of you know I work four hours a week at the kids club at the gym here. It has been so nice because it gives us a free membership at the gym. The only down side has been that Jonas has been getting every little cold and virus that has gone through the kids club. Hopefully next year his immune system will be all the stronger for it!

Here is a little video of Jonas talking to me about the monster truck show and what he thinks will be in his package from Grandma Wilson. He has been saying some funny words lately and I was trying to get him to say them but he wouldn't. Well beside umbrella! Ayways I think this video is funny because he talks like this ALL day EVERY day.... with his hands and this loudly if not louder. My mom said when I was little I talked her ear off all day but I was so quite you could never hear me. She would always tell me that one day that I would have a kid that talked as much as I did as a pay back. Well I do except you cant tune Jonas out like she could me. The kids seriously talks loud enough for everyone in the neighbrhood to hear!!! I love him to death though and wouldn't trade it for the world!

Crystal! Jonas is so cute! I loved his umbrella. Good luck with all of his "boo boo's". It sounds like you have your hands full. It's no wonder you probably hate hospitals.
