I am Blessed!

Normally I do my grocery shopping every two weeks, I am really pretty strict with myself and write out a menu and stick with it to avoid overspending at the store. On occasion I run out of a few items or just forget to get them in the first place so I usually end up picking up odds and ends here and there anyway!

Well I have two more days left and what do you know I am out of everything I need to feed Jonas and Hailey during the day. That's just one thing I can't wait two days for so I took Jonas out to the store. I got Jonas' favorite cereal (treasure cereal aka Lucky charms), fruit snacks, crackers, bananas, juice and some mac and cheese. Then just for a special treat I got Jonas a doughnut which is something I NEVER get him. So as I am checking out I am thinking to myself wow besides the bananas this is not the healthiest assortment of food. Now I know that this is not all I feed Jonas and Hailey but I can't help but wonder what the cashier thinks of my food choices.

So we get out to the car and I give Jonas his doughnut to eat on the way home. He takes one bite and says Mom.... I am so blessed because I have a pretty Mom that buys me all my favorite food. I couldn't help but burst out laughing because now I know for sure that I am not the only one that over analyzed my food purchase. Jonas was probably sitting there all googly eyed the whole time. I also find it funny that Jonas seems to use words such as blessed and pretty to thank me!
