Thanksgiving

Well for Thanksgiving this year we stayed in town and had dinner over at Scott's parents house. All in all it was a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

First of all I would like to start off by saying I will NEVER ask Scott to dress Jonas and take him out to run errands EVER AGAIN.... and this is why.... On Thursday morning I was cooking some things for our Thanksgiving dinner that afternoon and realized that I had forgotten to get a few things. So I sent Scott and Jonas to the store. Being so wrapped up in cooking I didn't even glance at what Scott dressed Jonas in before they headed out the door. When they got home all I could do is gasp. Now I know Jonas is a boy and doesn't always have to be a dressed up. I also realize that I myself am not always a picture of beauty but when it does come to my son I have some dignity. I would never send my son out in public looking like a little homeless rag a muffin! Now is it a little funny that Scott found it appropriate to dress Jonas like this to go in public? Yeah I guess a little bit. But my heck how hard is it to dress your son in matching clothes let alone maybe some pants and a jacket for a chilly November morning! Yes that's right he didn't even put a coat on him. So the picture below is how he came home from shopping, Blue basketball shorts, a brown John Deer shirt, bright orange socks, and a pair of penny loafers! I am just surprised child services didn't show up at our door! But yes Scott thanks for running those errands for me we will just leave the dressing of Jonas to me from now on!ANYWAY...... other than that we had quite a pleasant day. As I said before we had dinner at the Bradley's. After dinner the guys when our shooting guns. And the girls took the kids for a little hike. It was really a beautiful day out.


This past Saturday we put up all our Christmas decorations. Jonas is SOOO excited about Christmas. I am just excited that Santa's elves are back making sure he is being good!:)
