This 'n' That

Last weekend we had a garage sale and with a portion of the money we bought Jonas a little pool. It comes up to his chest and is apparently a 1000 gallon pool but it is just the perfect size for Jonas. He just loves it! It's even big enough for Scott and I to get in and play with him. It has been nice on these hot days to jump in and cool off! We also like the fact that it has a pump on it so that we don't have to fill it back up every day!
There is a park a mile from our house and it's not the greatest park but Jonas just loves to go. I just found out two weeks ago that everyday between 11:30 and 12:45 they serve a free school lunch for kids between the ages of 1 and 18. So I thought free lunch can't loose on that one. So I took Jonas and was so shocked at the lunch that they gave him. For instance two days ago he got a ham and cheese sandwich, a slice of watermelon, yogurt, a bag of chips, a muffin and chocolate milk. At home he would only get a PB&J. Then we stay so he can play with all the kids at the park for an hour. It is so fun for him and plus I get the exercise by walking him in the stroller there and back!

There is a family across the street that has three kids one little girl Jonas' age and then two boys one 6 and one 7. Their mom runs a daycare and the three kids come over here ALL day long to play with Jonas. So I started to take them with us to the park for a free lunch! And lastly..... here are two pictures one of the beautiful orchids that Scott bought me two years ago that are still blooming like crazy. The other of a rose from the gorgeous rose bush in our front yard!
