Balanced Rock

On Saturday we went to this place called balanced rock, it is about a half an hour drive from our house. They have this really nice picnic/park area in a little canyon that has a beautiful river flowing through it. So we went to have a barbecue and fly a kite.It was a tad bit chilly so we were about to leave when I found a really nice hiking trail that we went off on for a while. We left the windows to our car open and the keys in it so we had to go back. It was starting to drizzle a little so we took off. Even though we were a little cold we had so much fun! It is just so nice when spring is starting to come around all you want to do is be outside as much as possible. The next day as we were getting out of church we realized that it was just such a beautiful day. I had enough food to have another barbecue so we packed up and went back to the park. This time it was so much warmer that we were able to enjoy it so much more. Seeing as how it was warmer the park was quite crowded but we had fun playing with every one's dogs.After lunch we took off down the hiking trail and walked for about an hour and half. Jonas just loved it, he walked almost the whole time it was quite a lot for the little guy!When we got back the park had emptied so we had it to our selves. Jonas had tons of fun playing on the swings and seesaw. All in all it was a really fun weekend.
